This course aims to expand upon and supplement the foundations of English language listening and speaking skills that have been laid during freshman English classes. 

Advanced English (Monday)

This course will also seek to improve upon the English comprehension and fluency skill-set of upper-year non-English major students. Students are encouraged to develop critical thinking skills and will be exposed to a wide range of English language media, popular culture and oral conversation.

Composition (Semester 1)

This course is designed to help students develop effective writing skills in English. Upon completion of this course, students will be equipped to write a five-paragraph essay using a variety of rhetorical modes. Over the duration of the course, students will be exposed to a wide selection of printed and digitally published material.
